2021 Impact Factor – over 1 and the highest ever

With our origins in physics publishing, we are always pleased when our physics journals do well. We are pleased to report that the impact factor for EPJ Applied Physics has increased by 18% to 1.168. Although still a modest impact factor, it nevertheless builds on last year’s increase of 58%.

The Journal Citation Reports™ from Clarivate aim to help publishers and editors, librarians and researchers “Quickly understand a journal’s role within and influence upon the global research community ...” The release of new impact factors is eagerly anticipated every year.
